Coaching Staff
Meet the people who make this team and programme possible through their hard work and dedication to the game
Paul Convoy
Bench Coach
Aven Fletcher
Manager
Team Manager Aven Fletcher is the leader from the front. 2x time SNBL MVP the slugger features in the heart of the order and dominates menacingly from atop the mound as well.
He also operates at the the highest level of British Baseball playing with The NBL London Mets
His intensity and spirit for improving the game also set the bar for the rest of the team.
Hsinyen Lai
Head Coach
Steve Silverberg
Head Of Operations
Assistant Manager Hsinyen Lai is the brains of the operations. The two time Scottish Pitcher Of The Year isn't known as 'The Professor' on and off the field for nothing.
He's the one plotting the teams trainings and outfoxing everyone on the diamond. His tireless endeavour to bring Scottish Baseball back to the highest competitive levels is an inspiration to everyone else around him.
Garrett Stell
Pitching Coach
Ruari Dunn
Bullpen Coach
Head of Operations Steve Silverberg is the power behind the throne that keeps all the wheels turning and sets the whole organisation up for continued success now and into the future.
Like his hero Mattingly, he also brings that smooth, sweet lefty swing to first base where he serves up the 'scoop du jour' as a picking machine.
Bench Coach Paul Convoy is synonymous with Scottish Baseball. As former SNBL President, he was instrumental in leading
The Scottish National Team to their last tournament trophy at
The Inaugral Battle For Britain.
He may spend more time rolling D20's than ground balls but that just means The Dungeon Master is thinking two steps ahead of everyone else.
When current SNBL Pitcher Of The Year Garrett Stell isn't slinging heat from the left side of the rubber he is dropping sage advice in the bullpen to help every pitcher elevate their game.
Our resident ace newshound takes down opposing hitters with his keen journalistic eye for detail, guaranteed to keep every batter 'off the record'.
A mainstay of Edinburgh Baseball Club for over 20 years Ruari Dunn has also represented Scottish Baseball nationally since 2015.
Often the loudest team member either on the field, in the dugout or in the bullpen, Scottish Baseball would be a lot quieter place without him.
