Australian-born Aven Fletcher leads Scotland Baseball as Team Manager. A two-time Scottish National Baseball League Most Valuable Player, Aven is one of the most productive hitters in the British game.

Before relocating to Britain, Aven played in the Australian Baseball League, the country's top professional competition. He now competes at the highest level of British baseball with the London Mets, nine-time reigning champions of the British Baseball Federation's National Baseball League. A power hitter who anchors the heart of the order and a force on the mound, Aven brings elite playing pedigree and an uncompromising standard that sets the tone for the entire programme.
Hsinyen Lai serves as Assistant Manager of Scotland Baseball. He grew up playing in Taiwan, one of the world's deepest baseball cultures, before joining the Scottish National Baseball League, where a long and decorated career has produced both Most Valuable Player and Pitcher of the Year honours.

Hsinyen is a USA Baseball Certified Coach (Level C) and currently serves as Infield Coach for the Great Britain Women's Senior National Baseball Team. Great Britain won gold at the 2025 WBSC Europe Women's Baseball European Championship — only the second gold medal in the history of Great Britain Baseball — and Hsinyen will travel with the squad this August to represent Europe at the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage in Tainan, Chinese Taipei.

With Scottish Baseball, he leads training design, in-game strategy, and player development across the programme.
Steve Silverberg is a founder and President of the Scottish Baseball Development Programme, the registered Scottish charity (SC054940) that operates the Scotland Baseball Team. Based in Edinburgh and a USA Baseball Certified Coach (Level C), Steve leads the strategic, governance, and operational direction of the programme and serves as its principal external liaison.

A New Yorker by upbringing and a lifelong, diehard Yankees fan, Steve grew up playing baseball in the USA. In 2005 he founded and later served as president of the Washington University (Mo.) baseball club team, an organisation that remains active today. He has earned three Scottish National Baseball League championships and one Caledonia Classic trophy as a member of the Edinburgh Cannons.

Steve's passion for growing baseball in Scotland has been profiled in The Herald, and underpins every aspect of the programme's mission to build the sport from grassroots participation through to international competition.
Paul Convoy is one of the most established figures in Scottish baseball. As former President of the Scottish National Baseball League, he was instrumental in leading the Scotland National Team to its title at the 2019 Battle for Britain — the team's most recent tournament championship.
As Bench Coach, Paul brings decades of institutional knowledge, tactical experience, and a deep understanding of the Scottish game.
American-born Garrett Stell is the Scotland Baseball Team Pitching Coach. A left-handed pitcher and the reigning Scottish National Baseball League Pitcher of the Year, Garrett combines technical command with the analytical approach he applies to his work with the programme's pitching staff.
Ruari Dunn brings more than twenty years of Scottish National Baseball League experience to the Scotland Baseball coaching staff. A six-time SNBL champion as a player, he has also managed the Edinburgh Cannons to three consecutive league titles, a run that included the SNBL's first ever perfect season in 2024.
As Bullpen Coach, Ruari draws on that championship pedigree to manage in-game preparation and warm-up routines, and to mentor the pitching staff through the rhythms of the season.
Ruari is also a member of the Programme's Board of Directors.
