About the Programme
The Scottish Baseball Development Programme is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator under Scottish Charity Number SC054940.
We exist to give people across Scotland the chance to play baseball, and to give those who take it up somewhere to go. That runs from a first session in a primary school playground to representing Scotland against other nations.
What we do
We deliver introductory sessions in schools and communities, working alongside local authority Active Schools networks. We run a development pathway for players who want to continue. And we operate Scotland’s national teams, arranging competition against top clubs throughout the United Kingdom and international programmes.

About Us
Our charitable purposes
As set out in our constitution, our purposes are to advance public participation in the sport of baseball across Scotland; to develop a national performance pathway, including independent international playing opportunities for Scotland; to promote physical activity and community engagement; to support youth and adult development through coaching, education and competition; and to collaborate with partners to strengthen Scotland’s sporting infrastructure.
Governance
The Programme is governed by a board of charity trustees who serve voluntarily and are responsible for its strategic direction, financial oversight and compliance with charity law.
